Why users will choose Vivaldi, but not Opera?

Vivaldi and Opera have the same target audience: people who loved old Opera and people who believed in old Opera Team. But new Opera is developed by a new team with old leadership and Vivaldi is developed by old Opera team. Audience trust them both. Potential user is ready to give chance to both of them.

Why users will choose Vivaldi, but not Opera?

Dave Girouard (ex-topmanager of Google, the founder of Upstart) ready to answer:

Speed is the ultimate weapon in business. All else being equal, the fastest company in any market will win. Speed is a defining characteristic — if not the defining characteristic — of the leader in virtually every industry you look at.
When you create something new very important to release the product as quickly as possible:
A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan next week.General George Patton said that, and I definitely subscribe to it.
The only chance to survive in the ever-changing high-tech world release a prototype product with minimum functional as quickly as possible. You have to attract users today, because you can add new features tomorrow.

Opera Software released absolutely empty Opera Next summer 2013. It's very good Chromium-based browser, it's not just Chromuim with other name. But it's not Opera and it's not Opera which is waited users. But the fans were ready to wait.

Von Tetzchner created Vivaldi Technologies only at the end of summer 2014. The first Vivaldi Technical Preview was released only at the beginning of 2015. It was not be "the old opera with a new guise" too. But Vivaldi had already surpassed Opera, although Vivaldi was late for the year.
Since that moment Opera must run after Vivaldi. But Opera Software will never agree to this! This isn’t to say all decisions should be made quickly. Some decisions are more complicated or critical than others. Some decisions can’t be easily reversed or would be too damaging if you choose poorly. Most importantly, some decisions don’t need to be made immediately to maintain downstream velocity.
The developers add 1-2-3 new features in each new version. New versions of Opera are released every 1-2 months. It's OK if we don't have any competitors. Old Opera fans will use only Opera or old Opera. But Vivaldi's snapshots with 1-2-3 new features are released every week! Vivaldi is not perfect. But you see progress in Vivaldi. Do you see it in Opera?

Opera Software say that they are not afraid to lose users. Only users of old Opera may prefer Vivaldi, users of new Opera like new Opera and they are not interested in something other. But is it true? I think old Opera users in any case will choose old Opera. But users who have given up the old Opera and chose a new Opera yesterday can choose Vivadi tomorrow! And what Opera should do now? Only work. And work very fast!

P.S.
Of course, Dave Girouard was talking not about Opera and Vivaldi. He talk about advantages of start-ups in comparison with large companies. Less people, less discussion, therefore it is easier to make decisions. But when I read the headline I immediately thought about Opera and Vivaldi. Because I think that speed of development is the second reason why users choose Vivaldi, but not Opera. The first reason is respect for the users.
Sorry for my English. I need more practice. Usually I write text in English at first, but now I am translating Russian publication. Turns out it's more difficult.
