All Maxthon problems because of... Popup Blocker

If you use Popup Blocker your browser will just blocke all windows, which is opened without your wish. But Popup Blocker have no brains, it just block all popup windows. All. But do you really think that all pop-ups today are evil, advertising and something unwanted?
All browsers today have Popup Blocker, because it's not so difficult. Just check the settings in your browser, I'm sure you can find filter of pop-up windows in your browser. Let's try this in Firefox. When Firefox block new popup on new website browsers will show you special bar with information about blocked window. You can continue blocking or allow this pop-up if it's something necessary for you and it has been blocked by mistake. Cause popups today are not only ads!
OK, but how does it work in another browsers? Same. Almost... You can unblock this popup in Chrome, Opera and other browser. I think... I did not use this for a long time and I'm not sure. But I sure that in Maxthon you can do nothing with blocked window. There are not any notifications about blocked window. You can disable Popup Blocker for opened website, but it does not work because of very old bug. If you disable Popup Blocker only for one-two websites, it'll turns on again. And again, and again... So if you want to have power to block some of popups, you can live with this wish, because all you choice includes only: use Popup Blocker for all websites or don't use Popup Blocker for all websites. It's all. So the first problem of Popup Blocker in Maxthon is lack of settings and loss of this settings because of bug. And this is problem of any MX user.
The second problem with Popup Blocker in Maxthon is only extensions developers problem. Extensions for Maxthon are very strange. And very often add-on developers use popups as a part of extensions functional. But very often browser blocks these popup too. For example, KeepVid Light was rejected when the original bookmarklet was used (v.1.0.0). This is the second problem of Popup Blocker in Maxthon. And this is problem of add-ons developers. But this is only one case.
There are many scripts which open own "window" on the same tab. It works if you use it as a scritp, but if you try to make extensions with this script this "window" will be blocked. I tried it with an official AddThis bookmarklet: it works from bookmarks, but it does not works from toolbar. I'm not sure, but I think it's because of Popup Blocker too. Perhaps, we don't have popular extensions for Maxthon because of this. And this is problem for ordinary users too.
So we already know that:
The most popular website in Russia and the CIS is VK.com. ВКонтакте (InContact in English) is social network. If you browser bad works with VK, you have no chance with Russian-speaking users. VK were the first who add web-notification in Russia, but many users don't like this and disabled it on personal messages page. And if you are MX user you notification will return after a while. Again and Again, and again... But when I disabled Popoup Blocker, web-notifications will be switched off. And it works only if you don't use Popup Blocker for all websites, if you try to disable it only for VK, you'll see web-notifications again. Conclusion: it's because of bug.
I think Maxthon Team know about this situation. They noticed that web-notifications switched on again without user activity, but they have not found the cause of this and just removed web-notifications from Settings. I write about this for MX Support many times, but...
If you don't want to have problems with Maxthon, just open Web content settings and disable Popup Blocker for all websites. You will not see hundreds of popup ads, but many bugs remain in the past.
